This website is linked to the Australia Post website. Delivery costs are based on item size / weight. Where possible the item may fit in a prepaid satchel this option will become available to you during checkout. If you feel the shipping costs are too high, before making payment please contact us to review the costs.
We use Australia Post as our main carrier and various couriers to deliver our products to you.
Remote areas, pallet deliveries and big/bulky items may attract additional surcharges. We will contact you immediately if this is the case.
Please allow 1-3 days for metro delivery. WA, NT and other remote locations please allow 7-14 days delivery time.
Your order will be filled within 24 hours whenever possible. If for reasons beyond our control we are unable to dispatch your order within 48 hours (supplier stock issue, special order stock, etc) we will contact you so that we can make alternative arrangements.
We reserve the right to terminate any orders and refund all monies in total.
We now offer international shipping to over 200 different locations through our shipping partners.
Times for delivery will vary depending on your location and the kind of service you have selected at checkout.
We have 3 types of international shipping available:
Economy - This delivery option is the most cost effective, however it will take longer to reach you. Tracking may not be available for this shipping method also, and if the parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we are not held responsible.
Standard - This delivery option is for standard delivery within standard delivery timeframes. Tracking included.
Express - This delivery option is the most expensive but you will get your item in the fastest time possible. Tracking included.
What are the International shipping rates?
International shipping rates are calculated based on a number of factors including desired service level (economy/standard/express), number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the item, and the destination location/region. International shipping will be calculated during checkout by our website.
What is the delivery timeframe for my International order?
Most in-stock items generally ship from our fulfilment center within 2 business days and arrive within 4-13 business days after your order is received. ("Business days" are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Since delivery timeframes vary depending on destination, a more accurate estimate will be provided during checkout.
Please note: Although we try our best to deliver your items during the estimated timeframe, delivery dates are not guaranteed.
What if an item is on backorder?
We will send you an email outlining that the item is on backorder from our suppliers. If there are multiple items on your order and one item is found to be out of stock, the whole order will not ship until all items are in stock.You may cancel the backorder item and a full refund will be given for that item or your entire order if you no longer want to continue with or wait for your purchase.
All products available on this site must be installed by a licensed electrical tradesman / technician.
Change of Mind
All products purchased from MJS Electrical Products & Supplies are backed by a seven (7) day Peace of Mind Return Policy. All products returned must be in perfect unused condition, with all components, complete with original packaging. We will not allow returns on damaged or incomplete products. Proof of purchase is required. Should the product not be in original condition, please contact us before returning it as this may save you some unnecessary costs.
Damaged / Faulty Goods
If you find that the goods were damaged in transit or were faulty in some manner, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We will organise for the return of the goods and arrange a credit towards your next purchase or send a replacement product. Customer will incur the cost of return postage and be credited the purchase price only. We recommend that you return your unwanted items using registered post or trackable courier. We can not be held responsible if returned items are lost in transit.
Product warranties are governed by the respective manufacturers and / or suppliers warranty terms and conditions (available on request). We will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss suffered due to product failure. We will process product warranty claims through the respective manufacturers and/or suppliers.
