The Tongue Puncher 90mm LITE is a precision tool designed to assist in running wiring through internal walls. Its main function is to provide a bright, visible target from the top plate down into the wall cavity, so you can accurately drill into the path of the “yellow tongue” without guesswork.
Key features include a COB LED light to illuminate cavities, a patented yellow tongue deflector, and construction tailored for 90mm internal walls and 10mm plasterboard. It’s especially useful when working solo, eliminating multiple trips to locate wiring channels.

The Tongue Puncher 90mm LITE is a smart, precision tool that helps electricians hit wiring paths first time—saving time, reducing rework, and simplifying internal wall installs.
Q: Will it work in walls with insulation?
A: Its effectiveness may be reduced in insulated walls. The internal LED helps, but insulation can block the light path.
Q: Is it suitable for different wall cavity sizes?
A: It is purpose-built for 90 mm cavity walls. It does not seat properly in deeper or shallower walls. However, our sparkies have reported they have had success with 70mm wall cavities also.
Q: Can it be used with thicker plasterboard?
A: It’s designed specifically for 10 mm plasterboard. Thicker boards may prevent proper seating.
Q: What warranty does it come with?
A: Covered by a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects and failures under normal use.
All products must be installed by a licensed electrican. DIY electrical work is illegal and very dangerous.
Change of Mind

Damaged / Faulty Goods
If you find that the goods were damaged in transit or were faulty in some manner, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We will organise for the return of the goods and arrange a credit towards your next purchase or send a replacement product. Customer will incur the cost of return postage and be credited the purchase price only. We recommend that you return your unwanted items using registered post or trackable courier. We can not be held responsible if returned items are lost in transit.
