The Clipsal 56 Series 3 Pin 10A RCD Protected Switched Socket (56C310RC-GY) combines a 3 flat pin 10A socket outlet, a switch and a 30mA RCD in one weatherproof 2 gang assembly, rated 250V AC. It gives personal protection and quick disconnection of power at outdoor and industrial outlets.

If current leaks to earth, the RCD cuts the supply in less than 40 milliseconds. A neon shows the RCD is protecting the outlet; if it is not lit, the RCD has tripped. The polycarbonate assembly is rated IP66, is double insulated, and accepts the Clipsal 56P310 plug.
