The Clipsal Classic C2000 1 Gang Grid and Plate (C2031VH) is a standard size switch grid and cover for building a single switch with the mechanism of your choice. It is ideal for replacing worn or damaged plates, or for pairing with a dimmer, timer or other 30 Series mechanism in the popular C2000 range.

The plate is supplied without a mechanism. Its gloss White Electric cover hides all mounting holes and is easily removed, so walls can be painted right up to the edge of the grid without marking the cover. The hardwearing, UV stabilised surface keeps it looking fresh, and it measures approximately 116 x 76mm with 84mm fixing centres.

Q. Is a switch mechanism included?
A. No. This is the grid and plate only. A Clipsal 30 Series mechanism is needed and is sold separately.

A. Yes. The cover is easily removed, so walls can be painted right up to the edge of the grid plate without marking the cover.

A. Yes. The plate has no fixed orientation, so it can be mounted either vertically or horizontally.
