Q. Is this sensor suitable for regular door frames as well?
A. This model is optimised for roller doors (surface mount) with a wire lead of 650mm; for timber or metal doors/windows there are alternative PIXIE contact sensors.
Q. Will this work outdoors directly exposed to weather?
A. No — the CSR41BTP is rated IP20 only, so it should be installed in protected locations (e.g., under cover, inside the curtain of a roller door) rather than fully exposed outdoors.
Q. Can this sensor interface with systems other than PIXIE?
A. Yes — it provides a dry‑contact output suitable for any controller or alarm system that accepts N.C. contacts, but full feature integration (mobile alerts, app status) is available when used with the PIXIE ecosystem.
Q. What type of door/roller is it suitable for?
A. It’s designed primarily for roller doors—large size openings, curtain‑type doors—where surface mounting is required and standard flush‑mount reed sensors may not be ideal.

Damaged / Faulty Goods

We will organise for the return of the goods and arrange a credit towards your next purchase or send a replacement product.
