The Sicame HSC435DB House Service Connector Double Bolt joins the consumer mains (house side) to an insulated overhead service main (service side). It is a twin bolt connector designed mainly for the neutral connection, where the extra security of two bolts and two connection points helps guard against an incorrect or loose termination.

The connector is fully insulated and fitted with torque control shear-head bolts, so each connection is made to the correct torque without guesswork. No stripping is needed on the service side, which accepts insulated copper or aluminium conductors from 6 to 35mm², while the house side takes stripped aluminium or copper conductors from 4 to 35mm², as the connector is fully bimetallic. Viewing windows let you confirm the conductors are correctly inserted, and the IP67 rated body is made from UV stable thermoplastic elastomer.

Q. What is the double bolt version used for?
A. The HSC435DB is predominantly used on neutral connections, where two bolts and two connection points give extra security against an incorrect or loose connection. Single bolt HSC435 connectors suit both phase and neutral connections.

Q. What conductor sizes does it accept?
A. The service side takes 6–35mm² insulated copper or aluminium, without stripping. The house side takes 4–35mm² stripped aluminium or copper, with about 17mm of insulation removed. The connector is fully bimetallic, so it suits aluminium or copper conductors on both sides.

Q. What tool do I need to tighten the bolts?
A. Use a 13mm AF six-point hexagon socket. The shear-head bolts break off once the correct torque is reached.

Q. Can it be used with flexible cables?
A. No. The HSC series is not suitable for multi-stranded flexible cables. Service connections must also comply with your local network's service and installation rules.
